All you have to do is attach it to the rail (U type) and pair it with a dedicated app. Once you do that, you will gain the ability to remotely control your curtains using your smartphone. You also have the Touch & Go function at your disposal. You can also control the product with a SwitchBot Remote (not included) or a voice assistant (when paired with a separately available control panel).

Smart curtains in just a few moments

Simply add the Curtain U Rail 3 system to the app, then mount the device and calibrate it according to the instructions displayed on your smartphone screen. If you have double curtains, you will need 2 switches. When installing the modules, make sure their position matches what the app shows. What’s more, the Curtain U Rail 3 system is distinguished by its lifting capacity of up to 8 kg. It will even handle heavy curtains without any problems!

Convenient control

Are you already lying in a comfortable bed, but forgot to close the windows? That’s not a problem – if you’re using SwitchBot, all you have to do is reach for your phone! Now you can conveniently control your curtains using the app. What’s more, a small SwitchBot Remote is available for sale separately, which also allows you to control the system remotely.

Additional capabilities with the app

The SwitchBot app will not only allow you to cover and uncover your windows, but also provide convenient access to many interesting functions. With its help, for example, you can set a work schedule (up to 5, and if you have a hub in addition, any number). It is also possible to set the system to draw the curtains with a delay. A Light Sensor (Beta) function is also available. It allows the device to adjust its operation depending on the prevailing lighting conditions.

With such situations in mind, the Touch & Go function was created – when the device detects that you are pulling the curtain, it will automatically start pulling it for you. The product also works with IFTTT and SmartThings. It’s also possible to automate its operation and connect it with other hardware from the SwitchBot ecosystem.

Long working time

Don’t worry that the Curtain U Rail 3 system will refuse to serve you too quickly. The device is equipped with a long-lasting 3350mAh battery, so a fully charged one can serve you for up to 8 months. Its charging will take about 6.5 hours. It is also possible to power it with a dedicated solar panel (sold separately).
